You are only a few moments away from becoming a full FBA member. To become a FBA member you must first read and agree to the FBA TERMS OF MEMBERSHIP listed below.

FBA TERMS OF MEMBERSHIP

Membership in the Flair Bartenders' Association, Inc. (FBA) is voluntary and is granted on an annual basis from the date your dues are processed and implies only what is specifically listed in this agreement. Any other claims, references, or suggestions as to membership benefits are not binding. Membership for the 2008 year consists of one (1) membership kit containing various materials related to flair bartending and the FBA, access for one (1) calendar year to the members lounge starting after payments are processed, and eligibility for FBA functions and projects. Any and all discounts and other benefits for FBA members are for dues-paying members only. Membership is not transferable, nor refundable. Any submissions by any member of any photographs, videos, written works, or other materials is non-returnable and becomes property of the FBA upon submission, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance, in writing between member and the FBA. Please do not submit anything you wish to retain the rights to without making prior arrangements! It is a violation of the terms of membership to list any name other than your given first and last name (such as another company's or organization's name or your title) in your registered FBA account (at any time).

Promoting any outside, non-flair-related companies, products, services, or any other organizations anywhere within or on the FBA site including via the barflair e-mail system or the message boards without the expressed written consent of the FBA is strictly forbidden. Soliciting any non-flair-related products, services, companies, or any other organizations without the expressed written consent of the FBA is also strictly forbidden.

If you wish to you promote your private company, product, or service to the membership at large, you must submit your request to the FBA in writing. To protect the privacy of its members and integrity of the association, the FBA reserves the right to monitor and/or intercede in any and all transactions and accounts connected with this site and the FBA at large.  Violation of any of these terms is grounds for immediate forfeit of membership and all rights and privileges therein. Violation of any part of the following code of conduct is also grounds for revocation of membership without refund. Membership may be revoked or discontinued at any time for any reason without refund. Membership benefits and features are subject to change without notice. The FBA is not responsible for the claims or information distributed by its members in any form. The FBA assumes no liability for any accidents or injuries related to the practice, performance, observation, or participation in any form of any FBA or other flair-related event, demonstration, performance whether it be by an FBA member or not. Members accept full liability for the result of following any of the suggestions, training tips, or using any of the information circulated in any form by the FBA.

You must be of legal serving age in your area, region, or country to become an FBA Member.  By continuing you are claiming this to be true.

Now that all the legal mumbo-jumbo has been said, please understand it is our goal to provide the best possible membership for flair bartenders. Doing so requires structure and an assurance that all our members share the same basic values and integrity. These terms of membership were created to help facilitate this and to protect the organization from any potential harm caused by individuals who do not share our values, and integrity. This is your organization, help us make it everything you hoped it could be. Please remember when you wear the FBA logo, you are representing all of us, from all over the world. Whatever you do or say while wearing our logo will influence people's opinion of flair forever. Please help take our sport and art-form further forward, not farther back.

FBA CODE OF CONDUCT

As a member, I will:

1) Support the growth of flair bartending by encouraging and assisting others in their own development in a humble and respectful manner.

2) Dedicate myself to delivering phenomenal service.

3) Dedicate myself to a goal of 100% accuracy and 0% spillage.

4) Display fun, energetic, entertaining, and ethical behavior in the presentation of flair to the public, media, and industry.

5) Encourage camaraderie and acceptance between all flair bartenders, regardless of style, background, experience, or affiliation.

6) Uphold and support the Flair Bartenders' Association, Inc. Mission statement.

7) Not use the Flair Bartenders' Association, Inc. name or logo; nor disclose FBA information without the prior written consent from an authorized representative of the organization.

8) Have fun (in a safe, responsible, professional, and appropriate manner.)

9) Never make an ass of myself (and therefore the FBA) while:
   a) Wearing any FBA name or logo wear
   b) training, performing, exhibiting, speaking, or otherwise representing the FBA
   c) in the presence of any outside parties who may be aware of my FBA affiliation

10) Shall take sole responsibility for any accidents or mishaps that may occur while practicing, performing or demonstrating the actions that are encouraged by the Flair Bartenders' Association, Inc. and its members.
