I've been flairing longer than i have been "officially" bartending. I kind of fell into this.... probably not by accident. My first memory of trying out the flair was when I moved into a house with a bartender and a cook from Chili's. Every so often, I would catch my bartender roommate flippin' an empty bottle. Continuously, Left to right over and over again and would land a stall to finish his routine. I thought it was the most amazing thing that I have ever seen since "Cocktail"! I thought it was even better... Michael Maldonaldo, was the name of the bartender that carved the path for me to a different society in the working class. I was hooked and also thanks to youtube also was a big help. Slowly but surely, one bottle, two bottle, and then finally THREE! From there I knew that I could be one of the best in my city. I just recently joined the FBA after a competition in San Antonio and I'm looking forward to many more. LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!!!
